How does the 3-piece limit work?
Each player can have a maximum of three pieces on the board at any time. When you place your fourth piece, your oldest piece is automatically removed. This keeps the game dynamic and prevents stalemates.
How do I play online?
Select "Online" from the game mode picker on the home screen. You must be signed in to Game Center on your device. The app will automatically find an opponent for you.
Can I adjust the turn timer?
Yes. Go to Settings and use the stepper to set the timer anywhere from 3 to 10 seconds per turn.
What are the AI difficulty levels?
Easy makes random moves. Medium blocks your wins and takes obvious opportunities. Hard uses strategic play and is very difficult to beat.
Does the app collect my data?
No. XO3 does not collect any personal data. Your settings are stored locally on your device. See our Privacy Policy for details.
The app is not working correctly. What should I do?
